Viper Powersports is engaged in developing, manufacturing and marketing a line of high performance premium motorcycles, which are sold under our “Viper” brand and high-performance V-Twin engines. The Diablo, Diamondback & Mamba motorcycles are American made heavyweight bikes within the popular custom “cruiser” class, which is dominated by Harley-Davidson and “clone” manufacturers such as Big Dog Motorcycles, American IronHorse Motorcycle, and Bourget Bike Works. The Diablo is powered by our proprietary 152 cubic inch V-Twin engine.
Viper bikes are made for cruising, not kickstands. Over 80% of a Viper is created with parts custom manufactured by Viper, for Viper, right down to the wiring harness. Many of a Viper’s component parts are billet aluminum, machined in-house, using distinctive patented technology: Viper engines – 115 to 152 cubic inches, big bore/short stroke, Viper air-ride suspension, Viper Rigid Drive system. Real custom – real reliability.
Viper were the official winner of the Viper Challenge May 27 at the Air Force Air Expo 2006, “Viper versus Viper versus Viper.”
Of the three competitors, Viper Motorcycle, Dodge Viper, and the F-16 Viper Jet, we covered the three quarter mile course with the fastest time at a speed of approximately 158 mph!
Although the 3/4 mile course favored the jet and car, we still managed to record the fastest time. Over the weekend, we made runs with a tailwind and headwind and our bikes performed flawlessly.
Viper do not promote Viper Motorcycles as Sport bikes or road racers, yet with our unique design, proprietary engines and patented technologies, we are competitive in almost any arena. There is a great pride in knowing that while we compete in the Custom Cruiser segment, Viper Motorcycles produce the kind of performance you normally see in a sport bike. When coupling these facts and features with one-of-a-kind styling and a truly reliable OEM product, it’s evident that we have created a new segment of Super Cruiser motorcycles like none before. No Kit, No Sh*t!Although no firm prices have been set, if you want one, you will need to find $30,000 to $35,000, depending on engine and paint choices. The company offers three engine displacements for its powerplants: 115, 128 or 152 cubic inches (or approximately 1900, 2100 or 2500cc).
