As Custom Chrome continues towards its goal of regaining aftermarket leadership position, organizational and operational changes deliver results.

Morgan Hill, CA— coming off a very successful weekend at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati where Custom Chrome debuted its all new 2007 catalog, introduced several new key hires including the promotion of industry veteran Ed Martin, Custom Chrome is still not slowing down proving that gaining back industry leading share is the focus in 2007 and beyond.

“As we drive toward our goal of providing industry leading aftermarket parts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles we continue to exam our core competencies and area’s of expertise” explained Custom Chrome President, Holger Mohr. “We have built our company on brands like RevTech, Santee and most recently Jammer. We are good at designing, sourcing and distributing innovative parts and accessories for our dealers. With that said, we have made a strategic decision to close our Valencia facility” said Mohr.

The Santee brand is manufactured at the Valencia facility. Santee and its legacy are important elements of the Custom Chrome product portfolio and will continue to be. “Custom Chrome can better serve its dealers needs by working with outsourced manufacturing partners to produce Santee products” added Mohr.

In anticipation of the transition, Custom Chrome has begun to work with partners to expand the Santee line under the new outsourcing structure. Custom Chrome will invest in research and development for future Santee product launches.
