Rare Harley-Davidson bikes to be auctioned

Arlen Ness custom, built in 1974A range of rare and classic Harley-Davidson bikes is being offered for auction by MidAmerican Auctions at the 19th Annual Minnesota Vintage Motorcycle Auction scheduled for April 13-14th, St.Paul, Minnesota.

Eighteen of the 44 lots due to go under the hammer are Harley-Davidson engined bikes, with the remainder being made up mainly of British classics.

1929 H-D 350cc Peashooter racer Highlights of the selection include; an Arlen Ness custom, built in 1974, a 1929 H-D 350cc Peashooter racer in original factory paint, and a Harley-Davidson VR1000 Factory Racer, one of only 50 superbike racers built by the Company to compete in the AMA Superbike Series, it has never been raced and includes the factory manual and documents.
