At last, here we have something that looks like a far more gritty and realistic motorcycle movie, than the likes of Wild Hogs and Ghost Rider. There are a few really good movies made on low budgets but with a lot more passion than the Hollywood blockbusters. The up coming movie Brittown is one of them. As the description say:
“BRITTOWN - a motorcycle documentary featuring Meatball from the Hell On Wheels bike shop in Anaheim, California.
As a master mechanic, vintage Brit bike connoisseur and dirt-track racer, Meatball splits his time between family, his shop and his rock band Smiling Face Down. Brittown joins Meatball for several months as he heads to races, plays gigs and uses all his skill to turn an old 650 Triumph Bonneville motor into a 130 mph road-ready screamer.”
To me this sounds way more interesting than the stereotypic big screen productions that I’ve seen recently. Here’s the promo video. Take a look at the video and let us know what you think!
You can sign up for info on release dates at the Brittown websites.

Billy Lane was not present in court Friday for the docket sounding of the criminal charges. At that time a representative for Eisenmenger Berry & Peters, P.A. requested an extension in order to gather evidence. This extension was granted by the judge and the new docket sounding for the criminal trial will take place June 29th.The interesting thing about the developments on Friday is that Kepler Funk, Billy Lane’s original attorney, has filed a motion to withdraw from the case due to conflict of interest. This motion will be heard April 13th.
Some other interesting developments… Gregory Eisenmenger recently said he planned to file a court order to force the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to turn over documents containing information about Lane and Morelock’s blood alcohol level the night of the crash. As we know, toxicology reports showed that both Billy Lane and Gerald Morelock were over the legal BAC on the night of the crash. Police reports also indicate that Billy Lane had visited two bars before the accident.
The Morelocks’ family attorney S. Sammy Cacciatore has said that Billy Lane also refused to answer questions about his driving history, when or where he met the young woman who was riding in his car the night of the crash or what they were doing immediately before on grounds the answers might incriminate him.
He has also refused to provide documentation of his agreement with Daimler Chrysler, which provided Lane with the vehicle he was driving for promotional purposes, Cacciatore said. The car company is also named in the Morelock’s suit.
Jeffrey Vernis, Lane’s civil attorney, could not be reached Friday for comment, but Berry said Lane does not have to answer questions in the civil case until the criminal case is completed.
“No intelligent lawyer is going to allow his client to talk especially when you have such serious (criminal) charges pending,” Berry said.
