The $120,000 motorcycle was dedicated to Diethrich for his contributions in cardiovascular care, research and education at the 20th Anniversary of the International Congress on Endovascular Interventions in Scottsdale. Medical industry professionals made donations to offset the cost of the bike.

The one-of-a-kind hammered-steel chopper took nearly two years to create from concept to completion at Yaffe’s Phoenix shop. The idea came from Diethrich’s son, Tad.
