[1] THE Tear Drop air cleaner from S&S is instantly recognizable. However, many potential users mistakenly believe it will only fit S&S Super E or G carburetors. This is not the case as it is available to bolt directly onto a stock CV carb or single bore throttle body.

S&S claim that the chromed air cleaner will offer up to an eight percent increase in horsepower and 10 percent more torque, when used to replace a stock air cleaner. Kit includes backing plate, high-flow pleated air cleaner element, mounting brackets (as required) and Tear Drop cover.

Applications are available for almost every Harley-Davidson motorcycle built from 1986 through to 2008.
