Indian confirms availability of 2009 Chief

241208amd.jpgIndian Motorcycle’s General Manager Chris Bernauer has announced that the Kings Mountain, North Carolina based manufacturer has now launched its 2009 Indian Chief model.

In eighteen months the company has gone from an empty warehouse and no prototype to construction and fitting-out of its factory, the start of a dealership development program, and, now, design and successful testing of a four model Chief line-up.

Commenting on the progress that has been made, Bernauer says that “our goal for the future is to build a small and distinguished business delivering world class products and customer service.

“We currently have dealers in Charlotte, Phoenix, Detroit, Wichita, Paducah (KY), Pittsburgh and Omaha. Many more locations will be opening in the Spring and Summer of 2009. If customers do not yet have a dealer near them, they are welcome to visit the Charlotte, NC, area and we’ll provide a tour of the factory and a visit to the beautiful Charlotte dealership.

He always strove to do what was best for the industry and held the customers best interest as the foundation for his work.  From the beginning Bob instilled his exemplary work ethics and attention to every last detail into his kids Bob Jr. and Christine.  Bob Jr. for the past 24 years and Christine for the past 20 years had worked side by side with Bob.  As a family they have built what has become one of the most respected names in the industry.

Lose weight

A heavyset guy sees an ad that reads ‘Lose weight. Only £10 a stone. Call 0800 555 0238’ and decides to make
the call.

The operator asks, ‘How much weight do you want to lose?’

‘A stone’, he replies.

‘We’ll have a representative over in he morning’, says the operator.

About nine the next morning, there’s knock on the door. There stands a fairly good-looking girl, completely
naked except for a sign around her neck reading ‘If You Catch Me, You Can Have Me’.

The hefty fellow chases her upstairs, downstairs and all around the house. Finally, panting and wheezing, he catches her. After they have sex, he runs to the bathroom and weighs himself. He’s lost a stone!

That night he calls the number again and says, ‘I want to lose two stone’.

‘We’ll send someone over.’

The next morning, he’s greeted by a gorgeous girl dressed only in track shoes and wearing a sign around her
neck that reads ‘If You Catch Me, You Can Have Me’. The chase takes a good while longer this time, but later he
finds he’s lost two stone!

That night he calls and says, ‘I want to lose five stone!’

‘Five stone?’ the operator asks. ‘That’s an awful lot.’

The man replies, ‘Listen, just take care of it!’

About 7am the man hears a knock and opens the door. Outside stands an enormous gorilla with a sign around
its neck that reads ‘If I catch you …’
