Mustang Super Touring seat for FL

130510amd.jpgMUSTANG Motorcycle Products is celebrating its 30th anniversary of hand making bike seats with the introduction of the one-piece Super Touring for ‘08-’10 FL model Harley-Davidsons.

Lower than stock, the new seat places the rider in a deeply pocketed, 19in wide front bucket and also moves them 1.75in further back than stock. Behind the rider, the pillion has a 14in wide seat area, which is fully supported by Mustang’s unique internal support wings that eliminate any sagging at the edges.

The Super Touring is available plain or with studs (either chrome or chrome with black pearl centers), and with or without a fully adjustable driver backrest that folds flat for ease of getting on the motorcycle and removes easily without tools. A matching wrap-around passenger backrest with thicker, extended arms is also offered to complement the seat.

Industry Great Bob Le Pera Passes Away

Bob Le Pera had a passion for making the finest handcrafted Harley seats his way, no excuses and never strayed from the ideals that proved so rewarding to him. Bob passed away this past November.

He always strove to do what was best for the industry and held the customers best interest as the foundation for his work.  From the beginning Bob instilled his exemplary work ethics and attention to every last detail into his kids Bob Jr. and Christine.  Bob Jr. for the past 24 years and Christine for the past 20 years had worked side by side with Bob.  As a family they have built what has become one of the most respected names in the industry.

Together Bob Jr. and Christine will continue to keep Bob’s passion, work ethic and dreams alive, preserving every bit of history that he started with his bare hands back in 1972.  Bob will be greatly missed by everyone in the motorcycle industry.
